NUS Business School China Business Centre successfully concluded 2014/15 Accounting Winter Research Camp at NUSRI
On 24 January, NUS Business School China Business Centre successfully held 2014/15 Accounting Winter Research Camp at NUSRI.
The theme of the camp is “The Impact of Regulatory Reforms on Corporate Behaviors”. The papers submitted for presentation cover a wide range of topics such as Corporate Information Disclosure, Management Board Composition and Function, Corporate Financing, Fraud Discovery, etc. There are over 30 professors and young researchers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea participated in this camp.
Three top scholars in accounting research attended the camp and provided guidance to participating young researchers, they are Prof Kim Jeong Bon from City University of Hong Kong, Prof Oliver Zhen Li from NUS Business School, and Prof Chen Donghua from Nanjing University Business School. Prof Oliver Zhen Li is also the director of China Business Centre.
China Business Centre (CBC) was officially launched on September 24th in 2014. The Centre represents the convergence of NUS Business School’s comprehensive resources, aiming to advance research and teaching on China business. The centre is interested in studying the globalisation and transformation of China businesses in order to promote a strong and sustainable development model for China enterprises.
