1st International Workshop for Single-Atom Catalyst held at NUS
The 1st International Workshop for Single-Atom Catalyst was held at the Department of Chemistry of NUS from 11th to 14th June 2018. It was jointly organized by Department of Chemistry of NUS and NUSRI SZ.
The workshop was chaired by Professor Chen Wei, Director and Senior Investigator of Laboratory of Energy and Environment Interface Engineering at NUSRI SZ. 30 professionals and academics around the world gathered together to participate in the event.
The workshop, themed “Single-Atom Catalyst”, was chaired by Professor Chen Wei, who also gave the opening address. In the morning session, four keynote speeches were made by Professor Ma Ding from Peking University; Professor Liu Bin from Nanyang Technological University; Professor Yan Ning from NUS; Professor Li Jun, Tsinghua University respectively. The afternoon session included four keynote speeches which were made by Professor Xiaodong Wen from Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor Lu Junling from University of Science and Technology of China; Professor Zhang Chun from NUS and Professor Lu Jiong from NUS. Scientists shared their recent research progress and achievements.
In addition, the workshop also incorporated lab visits and roundtable discussion for research progress report and research collaboration. The four-day workshop aims to build long-term scientific links and collaborations and to bring excellent scientists to discuss their recent research progress and breakthroughs in their field of expertise.
