2015 NUS Internship Programme

National University of Singapore (Suzhou) Research Institute (NUSRI) successfully concluded its NUS Summer Internship Programme on 25 August 2015. This six-week programme commenced on 15 July 2016 and brought a total of 108 students from local universities. Since 2014, NUSRI worked closely with over 10 famous local universities, including Sichuan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China and Xi’an Jiaotong University, with outstanding students carefully selected by each university to participate in our internship programme.

The main objective of initiating this programme was to build the platform for Chinese university students to experience the education system of Singapore. National University of Singapore (NUS) is a well-known global university of high standing, which attracts more and more students to study there. This programme included one-month academic study in NUS and other valuable opportunities such as visits to other known universities and public institutes in Singapore. This particular arrangement enriched students in academic study and also cultivated them to experience the culture and life in Singapore, which improved their self-ability and prepared for further study in Singapore.
