2017 MI Immersion Programme
Twenty-one participants from Singapore Millennia Institute embarked on an unforgettable 7-day Enterprise Immersion Prpgramme in Suzhou, China. The programme was held from 27 May to 2 June and organised by National University of Singapore (Suzhou) Research Institute (NUSRI).
The programme aimed to give students a new perspective on the economy and culture of China. It started with a lecture conducted by an entrepreneur on topic of business plan. Students were then divided into groups to explore a mini-project in some defined areas. Each group presented their business idea at the end of the trip to gather feedback.
The Suzhou Kun Opera Theatre left a deep impression on the students. The group watched Kun opera performances, tried their hand at drawing a traditional opera mask, and learnt about the culture and artists life in old days through meaningful introductions by staff.
In future, our institute will continue to carry out such programme to international students.
