2017 ITE Immersion Programme

On the 16th to the 21st of September 2017, 30 students and 3 teachers from Singapore's Institute of Technical Education attended NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute's Enterprise Immersion Programme. This programme aims to assist students' understanding of China's economy as well as its culture.

The Enterprise Immersion Programme is a combination of academic tutorials as well as cultural visits. NUSRI invited an entrepreneurship tutor to hold tutorials for students to construct their own business plans. To enrich the students' learning experience, NUSRI led visits to companies such as ASUA, and CM Clouds.

Apart from lessons, students also had the opportunity to visit local tourist attractions such as the Humble Administrator's Garden as well as the Suzhou Museum to gain a deeper insight on the cultures of Suzhou.

In the future, NUSRI will continue to provide similar immersion programmes to international students, contributing to the exchange between China and the rest of the world.
