2016 SIT Enterprise Immersion Programme (1st Batch)

National University of Singapore Research Institute (NUSRI) successfully concluded the Enterprise Immersion Programme for Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) on 10 January 2016. SIT is Singapore's fifth autonomous university. This programme commenced on 4 January 2016, and brought a total of 2 academic staff and a select group of 19 students to China. This is the third time that SIT brought their students to NUSRI. 

With lectures and fieldtrips conducted exclusively in Suzhou China, the objective of the programme is to promote the entrepreneurship and economy in China. Core component of the programme is business plan part. Students will be divided into groups to explore a business idea (mini-project) in some defined areas. A consultant will give lecture and be around to coach the groups to help them better formalize their ideas. Each group will present their business idea at the end of the trip to gather feedback.
