Second Jiangsu Roadshow to showcase Singapore
Ready-for-Market Technology and to Promote
licensing and Product/Technology collaborations
between Singapore and China Companies

Introduction

The two day event is organized by the National University of Singapore Suzhou Research Institute. There will be more than 30 theme presentations in areas such as biological medical, development and application of computer technology, intelligent hardware, clean energy and new energy, water and environmental science and technology. More than 60 international technologies will be presented. In addition, there will also be more than 10 excellent start-up projects exhibited under Innov Alley. 

We are inviting high tech innovative enterprises, mainstream entrepreneurship management agencies, international academic institutions to participate. Together, we aim to build a high level international innovation exchange platform, to promote transfer of technologies and collaboration between international and China organization.

何致轩-Ho Chee Hin

International Enterprise (IE) Singapore  新加坡国际企业发展局

Mr Ho Chee Hin is Group Director for China Group of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, based in Shanghai. He is concurrently the Singapore Secretary-General of the Singapore Jiangsu Cooperation Council, as well as the Singapore-Zhejiang Economic & Trade Council. Prior to China posting, he was also IE Singapore’s Group Director for Europe Group, based in London, and was responsible for Singapore-based companies’ Business relationships in Europe, Russia, Central Asia and Turkey. He previously held positions of Divisional Director in IE Singapore; Center Director of IE Singapore’s Shanghai Overseas Centre; Commercial Consul of the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Shanghai and was also Advisor to the Shanghai-Singapore Business Association. Mr Ho was accredited with numerous success stories of Singapore-based companies expanding successfully internationally, especially in China. Mr Ho was a Singapore Trade Development Board (TDB) scholar, graduating with First Class Honors in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has successfully completed the Tsinghua-MIT International MBA programme under the Asian Business Fellowship programme awarded by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry. Mr Ho was also awarded the Singapore National Day Awards – Commendation Medal in August 2011.


南教授-Prof. Ong Choon Nam

新加坡国立大学环境研究所所长,Saw Swee Hock公共卫生学院教授

王俊南,在国际著名期刊发表文章300余篇,h指数因子高达75,被引次数超过17,200,并曾荣获Astra-Zeneca美国毒理学协会奖以及新加坡总统奖。王俊南教授多年来致力于环境卫生科学与毒理学方向的教学与研究工作,具有很深的学术造诣,1985年起担任世界卫生组织顾问,并12次参与其卫生标准出版物的编制工作, 2003年起至今作为世界卫生组织专家组成员参与饮用水质量指导方针编制,同时担任环境与可持续发展多部国际期刊的编委会成员。另外,王俊南教授作为中国疾病预防控制中心科学顾问、美国水资源研究所顾问、经济合作发展组织顾问以及多所海内外著名高校客座教授积极推动全球环境卫生研究工作,并针对环境卫生热点问题为国际卫生机构提供建议咨询,同时主导国际专家组致力于新加坡环境与水资源部关于新生水的研究。近年来王俊南教授研究团队致力于以代谢组学作为技术平台在生物医学以及环境卫生方向的应用研究。

Crystal is the founder of new business development department, specialized in corporate venture and business incubation. She has  hands-on  experience in building up a competent team for investment appraisal and business incubation; and developing a network of research institutes, start-ups, VC/PE and other entities for  technology scouting,  deal sourcing and business cooperation. Prior to taking her  current role,  Crystal was a well recognized  M&A specialist. She closed over 20 deals and  investigated more  than 200 target companies at Bosch and her previous career with a  leading professional firm. she  has solid experience in  healthcare, consumer goods, industrial  goods and machinery.


 

Sean P. Flanigan, BA, JD, RTTP

Chair, Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals

Sean Flanigan is a lawyer, technology transfer practitioner and Past-President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), the largest professional organization of technology transfer professionals in the World.  Mr. Flanigan studied law at the University of Ottawa and has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1993. Since joining the National University of Singapore in 2015 Mr. Flanigan has lead the Innovation Management team responsible for intellectual property (IP) commercialization and industrially supported research.  Prior to joining NUS Mr. Flanigan lead the team responsible for industrial liaison, technology development and transfer, new company creation and student entrepreneurship at the University of Ottawa for thirteen years.  He has created student incubator programs, applied research programs for small and medium sized enterprises and personally attended to the negotiation of dozens of early stage technology licenses. Mr. Flanigan has served as a Board member of several early stage technology based companies. In 2008 Mr. Flanigan became Vice President of AUTM for Canada and in 2012 was elected by his peers as President-Elect of AUTM.  During his Presidency of AUTM in 2013-2014 Mr. Flanigan championed a wholesale strategic shift in the organization’s structure including development of an entirely new governance structure and strategic plan while overseeing one of the most financially successful years and annual meetings in AUTM history.  From 2010 through 2014 he served as the Chair of the Governance committee of the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP), the Global certification body for Academic Technology Transfer Professionals and in 2015 he assumed the role of Global Chair of ATTP. Mr. Flanigan has lectured extensively on technology transfer around the World and has published studies of the profession and the practice.

Side Effects Software开发了Houdini 3D数字技术解决方案,该技术曾两度荣获美国电影艺术与科学学院颁发的奥斯卡奖项。Houdini的创新性的流程化制作技术在300多部好莱坞大片中得到很好的验证。作为一名连续企业家,TK在VR,游戏,动画和数字特效领域已有超过20年的经验。他在2008年创建了Side Effects 亚太区总部 (Side Effects Asia Pacific)。Side Effects亚太区在今年成立了sidefx studios,专在VR,AR领域做内容开发,工具开发,培训等研发活动。




卫绍骐 博士-Prof. Ted Way Shao-Chih

Chief Consultant of In-Situ, Inc.

Prof Ted Way is the Chief Consultant, and ex-President of In-Situ, Inc.

He is an recognized world expert on hydrogeology, with extensive experience in solving ground water problems, predictions of groundwater movement and contaminant transport, groundwater modeling etc.

He has published many articles in the fields of hydrogeology and environment science and co-authored 2 books on remedial technologies, published by the American Academy of Environment Engineers.

Prof Ted Way held the position of senior hydrologist of Texas Water Development Board, Austin, Texas and was visiting professor of National Taiwan University, National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan. Prof Ted obtained his Ph. D. from the University of Wyoming, USA.
