InnovFest Suzhou 2016 successfully held at NUSRI




SUZHOU—InnovFest Suzhou 2016 was successfully held at NUSRI from 7 to 8 June 2018, connecting close to 500 entrepreneurs, corporates, investors, technology start-ups, professionals and academics, and government agencies from around the world to share and exchange insights on the China's latest innovations and entrepreneurship developments.



The event was attended by Mr Yang Zhiping, Director of Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee (SIPAC); Professor Tan Eng Chye, Provost of NUS; Mr Loh Tuck Wai, Consul-General of Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Shanghai; Mr Yu Jiqiang, Deputy Director of Bureau of SIP Technology Development; and Mr Jiang Weiming, Deputy Director of SIP Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation District Administrative Committee.


More than 60 technology projects from renowned universities such as NUS, NTU and Oxford University showcased in the event, covering emerging areas like water technology, environmental science and technology, new energy technology, biotechnology and industry 4.0 intelligent hardware. Additionally, over 160 organisations including top multinational companies such as Bosch, Flex, Johnson & Johnson and Samsung participated the event.
