Unomove:AI brain for generic mobile robots

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, the concept of Embodied Artificial Intelligence (EAI) is transitioning from theory to practice. EAI encompasses research in robotics, perception systems, and motion control, aiming to integrate perception, decision-making, and action through interactions with the physical environment. This integration enables intelligent agents to possess learning and motor capabilities akin to those of humans.

Unomove (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. (i.e., Unomove), an incubated enterprise at NUSRI Suzhou, is leveraging its keen market insights and robust technical expertise. The company focuses on utilising pure visual technology in robotics to tackle navigation challenges, driven by EAI principles and big data analytics.

As one of the NUS GRIP, Dr. Gao Wei, the founder of Unomove, graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University and obtained a PhD in Computer Artificial Intelligence from the NUS. Currently, he leads a multidisciplinary team of experts in computer science, control systems, and mechanical design, dedicated to developing smarter, more adaptable, and efficient vision-driven robots. In 2024, Unomove was recognized as a leading technology talent in the Suzhou Industrial Park and selected for the Gusu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leader Program.
Unomove has developed three key products in the fields of visual sensor kits, pure visual weak map navigation, and adaptive controllers—UnoBox, UnoPilot, and UnoArm. To date, the company has successfully manufactured specialized robots for firefighting, security patrolling, and restroom cleaning. Additionally, Unomove has formed strategic partnerships with over ten robotics companies both domestically and internationally. Its technology is being commercialized across various sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, material handling, and human-robot collaboration, thereby promoting the widespread application and development of embodied intelligence technologies.
