Special Issue Symposium for China Journal of Accounting Research

Rediscovering Accounting Research in China

Suzhou, China

25 – 26 April 2015

This year, the symposium for the special issue of China Journal of Accounting Research (CJAR) will be held in the beautiful city of Suzhou on April 25 and 26. As researchers in China and abroad have been doing empirical accounting research on China topics for more than fifteen years, it is time that we pause, reflect and rediscover accounting research in China. We also want to use this opportunity to discuss problems and challenges that we have encountered and the best ways to promote authentic China research that is consistent with China’s rapid economic development and global stature. We promise a very exciting symposium and a lively exchange of thoughts. We look forward to welcoming you in Suzhou in late April.
