The interdisciplinary research topics on functional materials and their assemblies, especially in the fields of energy conversion and storage.

o  Redox electrochemistry for energy storage and conversion.

o  Redox flow X-batteries (X denotes different battery chemistries).

Sensitized mesoscopic photoelectrochemical cells for low cost solar energy harnessing.
