OVERVIEW
The National University of Singapore (Suzhou) Research Institute (NUSRI) is pleased to offer the programme conducted in English for undergraduate students and graduate students with no major restriction from 8 December to 22 December 2019. Comprised of a blend of practical teaching sessions, field trips and cultural immersion activities to Xi’an and Beijing, the programme gives participants a unique perspective to better understand China. 
China emerged as one of the world’s earliest civilizations. Now China is the second largest economy in the world. From the first imperial dynasty to the People's Republic of China, Chinese society, economy and culture have developed and changed throughout the millenniums. This programme will bring you to the heartland of China and give you the best opportunities to see a China you may not know. 


ELIGIBILITY 
Students must be enrolled as undergraduates or graduates at home universities.
Adequate English proficiency (at least IELTS 6.0 for students from non-English speaking countries/areas). 


PROGRAMME COST

The programme fee is $2,380 and includes the following: 

  • Double occupancy lodging throughout the programme
  • Local transportation for planned activities
  • High-speed train from Xi’an to Beijing
  • Activities and lessons in Xi’an and Beijing
  • Meals during major occasions
The accommodation will be double occupancy lodging (3-star hotels or above).
